// free challenge · starts July 1
The 30-Day Podcast Power-Up Challenge
One prompt a day for 30 days, to make you a noticeably better host by the end of July. Async. Free. Slack channel for accountability.

// THE IDEA
30 days. 1 prompt a day. Get better, little by little.
Most podcasters keep meaning to level up — better cold opens, a sponsor outreach plan, a cross-promo strategy... but it's hard to find the time. This challenge is that block of time. Asynchronous, 10-15 minutes-ish per day, starting July 1
// how it works
- → 1 prompt every morning by email, for 30 days.
- → The same prompt lands in the #challenge Slack channel.
- → You take the action, post about it in Slack if you want accountability, or just keep it to yourself.
- → No calls, zoom, or syllabus.
// the arc
4 weeks, 4 themes
Week 1
Craft sharpening
Tighten your content: cover art, show open, ad transitions, cross promo lead-ins.
Week 2
Audience growth
Pitch yourself as a guest, find collab partners, run a cross-promo, submit to podcast listening apps and newsletters.
Week 3
Money making
Sponsor outreach, rate cards that pop, and measuring success.
Week 4
Momentum upkeep
Setting up systems, planning for the future, and social posts to recap your findings.
// by day 30
- ✓ A sharper cold open + tighter edit workflow you'll actually use
- ✓ At least one real cross-promo or guest pitch out the door
- ✓ A sponsor one-pager you're not embarrassed by
- ✓ 30 days of receipts that you can, in fact, ship
// questions
How much does it cost?
Free. Seriously. RSVP, show up.
How much time per day?
10–15 minutes most days. A couple prompts will take 30. Nothing is a multi-hour homework assignment.
What if I miss a day?
You miss a day. Pick it up the next morning or skip it entirely. There's no streak to break.
Do I have to be in Slack?
No, but it's where the accountability lives. Prompts arrive by email either way.
Do I need a podcast already?
Yes — this is for people with a show that's running, not for people thinking about starting one.
